Highlands Brazil
While the camp location may change, the goal of the camp never will. To reach one more student with the Gospel of Christ. Even though campers can swim, canoe, participate in a high ropes course and compete in games versus each other, the entire camp is centered around sharing the Gospel both in small and large group settings with each camper. On an average week of camp, there will be 200-300 campers attending (some weeks up to 500).

About Us

Our Camp
When it comes to Camp at Highlands Brazil, every feature points to the Gospel. The campers will have lots of fun, make lots of friends and be clearly presented with the Gospel of Christ.
Prayer Requests
- Pray for Steve, Marco and the rest of the Rawlings Foundation team to find the right property that fits their long term needs and can impact the most campers with the Gospel.
- Pray for campers who will come to a camp this year to be impacted by the Gospel and experience true life change.

Our History
Currently the Highlands Brazil camp is renting out camps during the year to bring campers in and share the love of Christ with them. They are currently looking for a permanent home that can hose large numbers of campers. While they wait they still have anywhere from 200-500 campers a week attending camps in various locations.

Meet the Executive Director
Stephen Theis is the executive director at Highlands Brazil. Stephen has been running camps for The Rawlings Foundation since 2012. In 2009 Marco heard about The Rawlings Foundation and the impact they were having on youth in Dominican Republic. He reached out to The Rawlings Foundation and built a relationship with Herb Rawlings, and asked about starting a camp in Brazil. They began to search for properties to buy, but when none seemed to be the right fit the team decided to rent camp facilities so while searching for a permanent home, students could still be reached with the gospel of Christ. Although they are still searching for a permanent home, thousands of students have come to Christ while renting camp facilities in Brazil.
